Following Saturday's Night of Champions PLE, yesterday evening's episode of RAW set the stage for a number of new storylines and rivalries. That included a big change to one popular tag team: Alpha Academy.

While Chad Gable and Otis are meant to be heels, their comical antics have made them a hit with fans and Maxine Dupri's attempts to get the latter to join Maximum Male Models have been a lot of fun. However, WWE now appears to have abandoned that and Dupri's former clients, Mace and Mansoor.

They've taken a back seat in this storyline from the start, but during RAW, Alpha Academy officially became babyfaces. Dupri, meanwhile, has officially joined Gable and Otis' ranks as part of their tag team...and as Otis' possible love interest, of course.

WWE is clearly looking to capitalise on their chemistry, and when Alpha Academy battled Imperium, Maxine found herself being chased backstage by Valhalla. That appears to point to a feud with the Viking Raiders in the not-too-distant future.

Hopefully, Alpha Academy will soon find themselves squaring off with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed Tag Team Champions, especially as it was made clear elsewhere in the show that they're finally done with Roman Reigns.

You can check out some highlights from Maxine's confrontation with Valhalla, along with some photos of her new look, in the social media posts below.
