WWE has made a major change to the 205 Live commentary team as a result of NXT making the leap from the WWE Network to the USA Network on Wednesday nights. During last night's show, it was confirmed that Nigel McGuinness will no longer be doing commentary and he's instead been replaced by NXT wrestler Dio Maddin.

Maddin has now been confirmed as the newest member of the show's broadcast team and he joins Vic Joseph and Aiden English. McGuinness will remain on NXT with Mauro Ranallo and Beth Phoenix.

Maddin is a former NFL offensive lineman who was trained by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. He signed with WWE in 2016 and has been wrestling NXT house shows ever since. Clearly, WWE has decided that he's better off at the commentary table.
