SummerSlam is right around the corner and it seems as if WWE is planning to make a big change to the Kickoff show. 

Promotional material for the PPV reveals that it will begin at 6pm ET which makes it just one hour rather than the usual two. This is a lot different to what the company has previously done because while the smaller shows have a one hour Kickoff, the big four - Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series - are usually two hours. 

Not only does this indicate that there will be fewer matches on the Kickoff show but it may also be a sign that WWE has realised that fans don't want to sit through six hours or more of wrestling!
