With WrestleMania just days away from taking place in New Orleans and confirmation that next year's show will hail from the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, it looks like cities are already attempting to get in on the action for the chance to host WWE's biggest weekend of the year. So, where should you start searching for hotel rooms? Well, it's said that Minnesota could be next for WrestleMania!
The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority has released a list of names they expect to attend an upcoming Vikings game and upcoming their guests of honour are a group of WWE personnel.
It's even noted that they've been invited there for "Potential WrestleMania in 2020 or 2021," so the stadium will clearly be doing its best to sell Minnesota as the perfect location for the Showcase of the Immortals. It's actually been rumoured for a while now and seeing as the U.S. Bank Stadium can hold upwards of 73,000 fans for sporting events, it would definitely be a solid choice by WWE.
If this happens, it probably means that the Hall Of Fame, NXT Takeover, RAW and Smackdown LIVE will take place at the Target Center and the Minneapolis Convention Center would be the likely site for WrestleMania Axxess. We'll just have to wait and see but be sure to stay tuned for further updates.
