During last night's SmackDown Live, Charlotte Flair cut a backstage promo about being left off the SummerSlam card and called herself the "Queen of all Eras." She then demanded a match at the PPV and and vowed to prove that she's the greatest female Superstar of all-time.
Now, it's being reported that Trish Stratus is a likely contender for Flair at
SummerSlam, especially as Toronto is the WWE Hall of Famer's hometown.
There were rumblings earlier this year that Trish would come back to WWE to team up with Lita for a feud with then Women's Tag Team Champions Bayley and Sasha Banks but it never happened. Stratus is open to wrestling again, though, and this would make for a great passing of the torch.

SummerSlam match happen so we'll keep you guys updated about what comes next.
