WWE May Have Already Chosen This Year's MONEY IN THE BANK Winner And It's A Shocker - SPOILERS

We're still a few months away from the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event taking place in London, England, but a new report suggests WWE already has someone in mind to walk away with the briefcase...

The biggest disappointment coming out of this year's WrestleMania was, without a doubt, the fact Cody Rhodes wasn't booked to defeat Roman Reigns on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

However, many fans were similarly upset that LA Knight wasn't on the card, especially after he'd spent weeks hinting at doing something big during the LA-based show. We're not sure why WWE failed to deliver on that promise, but it sounds like there are those within the company who remain high on the former NXT Superstar.

In fact, a new rumour suggests that, after the reactions Knight has been getting at TV tapings and during live events (not to mention how he handled his feud with Bray Wyatt), WWE might be planning to pull the trigger on him in a big way.

As you can see below, there are discussions backstage about Knight potentially winning the Money in the Bank briefcase in London later this year.

Making him a WWE Championship contender would be a real show of faith on the company's part and suggests Triple H has long-term plans in mind for the man who, under Vince McMahon's watch, became Max Dupri.

We just hope he fares better with the briefcase than Austin Theory did (though he is now United States Champion and fresh off a win over John Cena at the Show of Shows).

Stay tuned for updates.
