WWE has been hyping Lars Sullivan's main roster debut since Survivor Series and while he was supposed to appear on RAW this week and then SmackDown Live, those plans changed and we now don't know what's in store for the divisive (and monstrous) NXT Superstar. Well, according to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, Vince McMahon may have big plans for him at this year's WrestleMania.
"He was earmarked for a very big match at WrestleMania and maybe we’ll know more on Monday, maybe we’ll know more on Tuesday [or] maybe at the Rumble," he reveals. "I don’t know, that’s all I can tell you. He was supposed to be there at both shows and he was not there."
It's very strange that Sullivan was pushed from both shows this week and it appears as if WWE may not be able to decide what to do with him or which brand he should debut on before Royal Rumble.
Now, it seems far more likely that he'll first show up on the main roster during that PPV and that's by no means a bad thing; what we don't know is what WWE might have planned for him at the Showcase of the Immortals and whether that's still going to happen or if Vince has soured on Sullivan...
