Recent reports indicated that Vince McMahon was determined to have a live crowd for SummerSlam after WrestleMania was forced to emanate from the empty Performance Center, and while the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has obviously put the kibosh on those plans, WWE may have found a way to have at least a few fans in attendance.

According to Wrestle Votes, WWE has managed to secure an outdoor location for the upcoming pay-per-view. No word on exactly where it might take place, but it's believed to be in the "Northeastern part of the US."

An outdoor venue wouldn't necessarily guarantee more fans being present, but it would potentially allow WWE to at least triple the number of people - be they paying fans or NXT guys - in attendance while still adhering to social distancing guidelines

We'll obviously have to wait and see of WWE makes this official (the source has a decent track record, bit it's far from spotless), but with SummerSlam set to take place on August 24, we should find out soon enough one way or the other.
