WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW Highlights For April 8, 2019: Fallout From WrestleMania 35 And More

The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for April 8, 2019 took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who may have missed it:

— After a promo from both Seth Rollins and The New Day about their new title wins, Rollins accepts Kofi Kingston's challenge to a Title for Title Winner Take All match for later on Raw.

— Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder retained the Raw Tag Team Championship over The Revival by pinfall

— Baron Corbin cut a promo about his success at WrestleMania. Kurt Angle interrupted and took Corbin out with an Angle Slam and an ankle lock. Then, Lars Sullivan came out to beat down Angle, just to make a statement that he's arrived.

— Alexa Bliss defeated Bayley by pinfall

— Becky Lynch cut a promo on her title win. Lacey Evans came out and nailed her with the Women's Right to start a brawl between the two, which ended when they were broken up by referees.

— Aleister Black and Ricochet defeated Bobby Roode and Chad Gable by pinfall

— Dean Ambrose and Bobby Lashley were scheduled for what was billed as Ambrose's last match. Lashley said after Ambrose leaves, he'll take care of his wife, which prompted a fight between the two before the bell rang. That fight ended with Ambrose sprawled out on the commentary table.

— Sami Zayn is now back and issued an open challenge, which Finn Balor answered. Finn Balor then retained the Intercontinental Championship over Sami Zayn by pinfall. Zayn then cut a promo on the WWE Universe, calling them toxic and saying they only get satisfaction out of being critics.

— Elias took some shots against John Cena and said the next person to interrupt him was a dead man, which prompted The Undertaker to come out! The Dead Man blasted Elias with a big boot, followed that up with a chokeslam and finished him off with a Tombstone.

— Kofi Kingston vs. Seth Rollins was interrupted by The Bar. They then had a tag team match that Rollins and Kingston won. The crowd was incredibly unhappy with this lackluster end with The Bar being the so-called big surprise.
