The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for December 17, 2018 took place at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who may have missed it:

— Vince McMahon starts off the show and brings out Stephanie McMahon, Triple H and Shane McMahon. They say the days of absentee leadership are over and they're going to be listening to the fans and giving the authority to the WWE Universe. Nothing is actually specified of what that means. Baron Corbin comes out to complain that what happened to him at TLC wasn't fair. After a long while, they give Corbin the opportunity to win the job of Raw general manager if he can beat Kurt Angle in a match (with Heath Slater as the special guest referee). Triple H then makes it a handicap match with Bobby Roode, Chad Gable and Apollo Crews joining Angle. Shane McMahon comes out and changes it to a No DQ match. Kurt Angle defeated Baron Corbin.

— Finn Balor vs. Dolph Ziggler ends in a disqualification with Drew McIntyre getting himself involved.

— Dean Ambrose cut a promo on Seth Rollins and issued an open challenge to anyone in the roster who isn't Rollins. Tyler Breeze answers the call. Dean Ambrose defeated Tyler Breeze by pinfall to retain the Intercontinental Championship. After the match, Rollins attacked Ambrose, who ran off.

— Several NXT stars are coming up to the main roster soon. Featured in the advertisement for this were Lars Sullivan, EC3, Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross and Heavy Machinery.

— Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush cut a promo. Elias pops up and nails Lashley with a guitar, but Lashley largely brushes it off. This was pretty much a nothing segment that existed just to remind everyone that this feud isn't over.

— Fatal 4-Way Match: The Revival defeated The B-Team, The Authors of Pain, and The Lucha House Party and have earned a future title opportunity for the Raw Tag Team Championship

— Ronda Rousey issues an open challenge. The women's roster can't decide who gets the shot, so Stephanie books a gauntlet match. Bayley defeated Alicia Fox, then Dana Brooke, but loses to Mickie James, who is eliminated by Ember Moon, who is eliminated by Natalya. Natalya beats Ruby Riott as well, and finally takes down Sasha Banks. Natalya earns a shot against Ronda Rousey for next week's episode (which will be taped in advance).
