The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for January 7, 2019 took place at the Amway Center in Orlando, FL.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who may have missed it:

— Raw starts with a brawl between Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins that the rest of the roster is trying to break up.

— John Cena announces he'll be in the Royal Rumble. Drew McIntyre interrupts to talk about how great he is and how he is taking out legends. The Lashley and Rollins fight comes into play and a six-man tag happens. Seth Rollins, Finn Balor and John Cena defeated Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Dean Ambrose by pinfall.

— After the match, Rollins goes up to Triple H backstage and says again that he wants Ambrose in an Intercontinental Championship match. Triple H grants him a Falls Count Anywhere match later for the title.

— "Mean" Gene Okerlund is given a tribute with a video package and a promo in the ring by Hulk Hogan.

Bobby Roode and Chad Gable retain the Raw Tag Team Championship over The Revival in a Lumberjack Match, but Scott Dawson's foot was under the ropes, bringing the finish into question.

— After a promo between the two running each other down, Baron Corbin defeated Elias by pinfall.

— Braun Strowman cuts a promo in the ring while Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman stay backstage on the TitanTron. They don't come to blows, even when Lesnar comes out, as he just laughs and leaves.

— Ember Moon and Apollo Crews defeated Alicia Fox and Jinder Mahal by pinfall.

— Alexa Bliss hosts the first "A Moment of Bliss" segment. Ronda Rousey is her guest. Rousey brings up Sasha Banks as someone who is the unsung hero of Raw and wants to face her. Nia Jax comes out to say she's the one who deserves the title shot. Banks issues a challenge to Jax. Sasha Banks defeated Nia Jax to earn the Royal Rumble title shot.

— Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins to retain the Intercontinental Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere match with help from Bobby Lashley
