The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for July 15, 2019 took place at the NYCB Live: Home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— 2-out-of-3 Falls Match: Ricochet and The Usos defeated Robert Roode and The Revival. Following the match, The Club came out for a fight and the six heels were too much for the three babyfaces to ward off.
— The Viking Raiders took out two jobbers by pinfall.
— Cedric Alexander scored an upset over Drew McIntyre by pinfall.
— Samoa Joe scored a relatively quick roll-up pin over Finn Balor. They fought after the match, with Balor standing tall, until his music became distorted, the lights went off and Bray Wyatt showed up to attack him and lay him out.
— Drake Maverick and Renee Michelle planned to consummate their marriage in a local hotel room, but later on, R-Truth managed to sneak in with a referee pretending to be room service. R-Truth scored a pin over Maverick and won the 24/7 Championship back in the process.
— Maria Kanellis tried to replace Mike in his match against Zack Ryder, but as she's pregnant, that was a no-go. Ryder immediately won the match with a Rough Ryder and was even announced by Mike Rome as "the winner in less than one minute." Afterward, Maria said her unborn child stood a better chance of winning than Mike.
— The Club defeated The Lucha House Party by submission as AJ Styles made Kalisto tap out to the Calf Crusher.
— Natalya defeated Alexa Bliss, Carmella and Naomi in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match to earn a title shot against Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam. After the match, they shared some words about how they would go to war with each other.
— The Miz hosted an edition of MizTV with Dolph Ziggler as his guest, as Ziggler specifically requested for the time. Ziggler complained that The Miz has become everything he hated, because he's just obsessed with money and fame, "just like [his] wife" Maryse. That prompted The Miz to go on the attack, and the two fought for a few seconds before The Showoff slipped away.
— Seth Rollins won a 10-Man Battle Royal (featuring Baron Corbin, Big E, Bobby Lashley, Braun Strowman, Cesaro, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Roman Reigns, and Sami Zayn) to earn the right to fight Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam.
