The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for June 8, 2020 took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:
— The show started with Bayley and Sasha Banks interrupting the scheduled match between Asuka and Charlotte Flair before it could get started. The IIconics came out, too, which set up a triple threat match. Asuka and Charlotte Flair beat both The IIconics and The Boss 'n' Hug Connection by submission by making Billie Kay tap out. Charlotte then attacked Asuka after the match.
— Rey Mysterio's prognosis looks promising, but he's still not sure when he'll be medically cleared to compete. Seth Rollins flips out that Rey keeps spreading misinformation, but invites him as well as Dominik to Raw next week. Aleister Black jumped out of nowhere, attacking Rollins. Then, Aleister Black and Humberto Carrillo defeated Austin Theory and Murphy by pinfall. Rollins came out in a Mysterio mask to provide a distraction to allow Murphy and Theory to beat down Carrillo and Black after the match.
— On The Peep Show, Christian expressed his doubts that Edge could ever have the greatest wrestling match ever. If "Edge" isn't going to step inside the ropes, Adam Copeland should just go home right now. Edge got fired up, which was what Christian was looking for. Randy Orton then appeared on the TitanTron to talk about how he's going to put Edge down at Backlash.
— R-Truth interrupted an interview MVP was having. Bobby Lashley then locked R-Truth in a Full Nelson.
— The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders tied 5-5 in a decathlon.
— Triple Threat No. 1 Contender's Match: Andrade defeated Kevin Owens and Angel Garza by pinfall (on Garza) to earn a title shot for the United States Championship against Apollo Crews at this Sunday's Backlash event.
— MVP held another VIP Lounge segment with Bobby Lashley as his guest, but Drew McIntyre came out instead. McIntyre proceeded to talk trash about how he'll beat Lashley at Backlash. Eventually, Lashley came out, followed by The Viking Raiders and The Street Profits, which set the stage for the planned tag team match. Bobby Lashley and MVP defeated The Viking Raiders by submission.
— Charlotte Flair defeated Asuka by pinfall with an assist from Nia Jax, who interfered and distracted The Empress of Tomorrow.
