The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for May 18, 2020 took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— The show started with a promo between Randy Orton and Edge. Edge said Orton doesn't care about wrestling the way everyone else does, as this was his backup option in life, rather than something he dreamed of. Edge accepted Orton's challenge for a wrestling match at Backlash.

— Seth Rollins said that what happened to Rey Mysterio last week was unfortunate, but a necessary sacrifice in his mission to be The Monday Night Messiah for Raw. Humberto Carrillo interrupted the sermon to call Rollins a coward and then fight Murphy when Rollins volunteered the two for a match.

— Murphy defeated Humberto Carrillo by pinfall.

— Liv Morgan is more determined than ever to win the Raw Women's Championship after losing to Charlotte Flair.

— Charlotte Flair defeated Ruby Riott by submission.

— Kairi Sane had a celebration for Asuka's title win, which Nia Jax crashed. They temporarily fought, with Asuka coming out on top. Later in the night, Jax attacked Sane backstage and Asuka attacked Jax in return.

— Bobby Lashley defeated R-Truth by submission. MVP once again talked to Lashley about how he should be fighting for the WWE Championship, which upset Lana.

— Women's Tag Team Championship Match: Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defeated The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) by disqualification to retain the titles. Following the match, Billie slapped Peyton for costing them the titles, but they immediately made up, apologized and said they love each other.

— Shayna Baszler defeated Natalya in a submission match. After the match, Natalya flipped out in frustration, ruining the set for the upcoming KO Show.

— On The KO Show, Kevin Owens had Zelina Vega, Austin Theory, Andrade and Angel Garza. Owens brought Apollo Crews out, who attacked Andrade and set up a tag team match. Owens and Crews defeated Garza and Andrade by pinfall after Theory accidentally hit Garza. After the match, Vega, Andrade and Garza beat down Theory.

— Aleister Black defeated Murphy by disqualification after Theory, who was ringside from the post-match beating he took earlier, was instructed by Seth Rollins to interfere. Theory is the newest disciple for The Monday Night Messiah.

— The Street Profits lost to The Viking Raiders in an axe-throwing competition

— Brand-to-Brand Invitational Match: Drew McIntyre defeated King Corbin by pinfall
