The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for October 29, 2018 took place at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who may have missed it:

— Baron Corbin kicks off the show to talk about the Universal Championship match at Crown Jewel. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman interrupt him to talk about how Lesnar will be victorious, which prompts Braun Strowman to come out to say Lesnar is going to "get these hands" before giving Corbin three powerslams to make a statement. Lesnar quickly F-5's Strowman after that.

— Finn Balor defeated Bobby Lashley by disqualification after interference from Lio Rush. Following the match, Lashley beats Balor down while Rush slaps Balor in the face multiple times. After that, Baron Corbin awards Lashley a spot in the World Cup tournament as a replacement for John Cena. (If you're unaware, this is only happening because Cena refuses to go to Saudi Arabia and support the Crown Jewel event in general; otherwise, he would have still been in the tournament)

— Trish Stratus, Lita, Bayley, Natalya and Sasha Banks defeated Mickie James, Alicia Fox and The Riott Squad by submission when Alicia Fox taps out to Natalya's Sharpshooter

— Elias plans to sing a song about Baron Corbin, but knows he's in the back getting treatment for Strowman's attack from earlier, so he heads to the backstage area. Dana Brooke requests a song, but Elias turns her down. He then tells someone with a cake to bring it to his room. Elias plays a song about Corbin to him before Jinder Mahal attacks Elias out of nowhere. Corbin then books the two in a match.

— Elias defeated Jinder Mahal by pinfall

— Bobby Roode and Chad Gable defeated The Ascension and The Authors of Pain in a triple threat match when Roode pinned Viktor. After the match, Akam and Rezar took out the competition to prove they're still the more dominant team, even in their loss.

— Seth Rollins calls out Dean Ambrose, asking for an explanation of why he turned on him last week. Ambrose appears in the crowd, but doesn't say a word, and leaves when Rollins starts to go after him.

— Nia Jax defeated Ember Moon by pinfall. Tamina Snuka came out for a distraction but did nothing. Moon was pretty much brushed off as nothing. (Great to see them capitalizing on her performance in the Evolution battle royal by making sure Jax pretty much squashed her)

— The Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado and Kalisto) defeated The Revival by pinfall

— Dolph Ziggler defeated Apollo Crews by pinfall

— The Brothers of Destruction cut a promo on D-Generation X and their match at Crown Jewel. Shawn Michaels hits a Superkick on The Undertaker, but he gets back up.
