The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for September 2, 2019 took place at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who September have missed it:
— Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman had a contract signing for their Clash of Champions match. The O.C. interrupted to complain about how AJ Styles has no opponent for his United States Championship and should be the first in line for a universal title shot, while Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows should be fighting for the Raw Tag Team Championship. This set up a tag team match where Strowman and Rollins defeated Anderson and Gallows by pinfall. Everyone continued to fight after the match with Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode joining in to make it five against two.
— The O.C. attacked Cedric Alexander backstage during an interview.
— Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode defeated Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder by pinfall.
— Lacey Evans defeated Natalya by pinfall.
— After a promo between the two, Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks for Clash of Champions was made official.
— Baron Corbin defeated Cedric Alexander by pinfall to advance to the semifinals of the King of the Ring tournament.
— The Viking Raiders defeated two jobbers by pinfall.
— Ricochet and Samoa Joe both had their shoulders down. It was later decided both will advance to the semifinals of the King of the Ring tournament and will face Baron Corbin next week in a Triple Threat match.
— The Miz defeated Cesaro by pinfall
— Bayley and Becky Lynch defeated Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross by disqualification after Sasha Banks attacked Lynch. Bayley then joined in by hitting Lynch with a steel chair as well, turning heel in the process.
