The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for September 23, 2019 took place at the Chase Center in San Francisco, CA.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who September have missed it:

— Raw began with a promo from Seth Rollins about his upcoming Hell in a Cell match and his recent trials he's overcame. Braun Strowman interrupted to set up a match for the main event between the two.

— The Viking Raiders defeated The O.C. by pinfall.

— Rusev defeated EC3 by submission.

— Sasha Banks defeated Nikki Cross by submission.

— Lacey Evans defeated Ember Moon by submission.


— Carmella pinned R-Truth to win the 24/7 Championship. The two ran off together after the women's roster came out to start hunting Carmella's title.

— Chad Gable defeated King Baron Corbin by disqualification after Corbin used his scepter on Gable to escape an ankle lock he was about to tap to.

— Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match: Rey Mysterio defeated AJ Styles, Ricochet, Robert Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura to earn a Universal Championship match against Seth Rollins for next week.

— Bray Wyatt interrupted the main event of Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman, laying out The Monster Among Men with a Mandible Claw.
