The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for September 30, 2019 took place at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, AZ.
Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who September have missed it:
— Rey Mysterio started the show with a promo, but Brock Lesnar interrupted and took out both Mysterio and his son Dominick, who was ringside.
— Sasha Banks defeated Alexa Bliss by pinfall
— Raw Tag Team Championship Match: Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler defeated Heavy Machinery by pinfall to retain the titles
— The Miz hosted an edition of MizTV with Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan as his guests. It was announced that at Crown Jewel, there will be a 5-on-5 team match of Team Hogan against Team Flair. The captain of Team Hogan is Seth Rollins and Team Flair's captain is Randy Orton. Orton came out for a promo and to challenge Rollins to a match which never happened, as King Baron Corbin attacked Rollins until Rusev made the save, filling out two more spots on those teams. Rusev then challenged Rollins to a Universal Championship match for later.
— The Viking Raiders defeated The O.C. by pinfall
— Ricochet defeated Cesaro by pinfall
— United States Championship Match: AJ Styles defeated Cedric Alexander by pinfall to retain the title
— Lacey Evans defeated Natalya by pinfall
— The Universal Championship match between Seth Rollins and Rusev ends in a no-contest due to too many distractions. Bobby Lashley came out with Lana and they started to make out, distracting Rusev. Then, Bray Wyatt attacked Seth Rollins to end Raw the same way it's ended for weeks.
