The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for January 4, 2021 took place from inside the WWE ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— The Miz and John Morrison hosted an edition of MizTV with The New Day's Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods as their guests. Teddy Long came out to book them in a tag team match. The New Day won that match by pinfall.

— AJ Styles defeated Elias by pinfall

— Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce defeated Asuka and Charlotte Flair by pinfall with a little help from Ric Flair interfering by accident. Charlotte told Ric afterward to stay out of her business and to leave.

— Matt Riddle defeated Bobby Lashley by pinfall.

— Shayna Baszler jumped Mandy Rose before their match could start. Dana Brooke then came out to check up on Rose and challenge The Queen of Spades to a match. Brooke scored a quick pin and then double-teamed Baszler with Rose.

— Randy Orton defeated Jeff Hardy by pinfall.

— Lucha House Party (Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado) defeated The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin) by pinfall.

— WWE Championship Match: Drew McIntyre defeated Keith Lee by pinfall to retain the title. Goldberg then came out to challenge McIntyre for the title at Royal Rumble.
