Preview & Predictions for WWE Raw:
On tap for tonight's Money in the Bank go-home episode, World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns returns ahead of his title defense against LA Knight; Becky Lynch faces Liv Morgan to determine the next challenger for Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer; AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix defends against Ethan Page; Men's Money in the Bank competitors Penta and Je'Von Evans team against Bron Breakker and Austin Theory; and Women's Money in the Bank competitors Sol Ruca and Lola Vice battle Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez.
Naturally, "Roman Reigns returns" is a phrase we've heard a lot over the past decade, since WWE loves to have him sit out 3/4 weeks in a row and then promote his appearance as a "return", only for him to mostly do the same stuff each time. Roman just recently wrestled Penta in a rare Raw match. He's not wrestling here. He'll have a back-and-forth promo segment with LA Knight, talk to The Bloodline about 946, maybe get attacked, and so on, but he won't be stepping into the ring for anything more than a promo and some non-match physicality. He'll look weaker heading into the event so that Knight looks like he might win, even though he won't.
If Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch have an actual winner, it will be Lynch. However, I'm expecting this to be a non-finish of some kind that leads to a Triple Threat for MITB.
Rey Fenix will retain the cruiserweight title. As much as I want Ethan Page to win some gold, it won't and shouldn't be this particular belt. He should be the next intercontinental champion.
Penta and Je'Von Evans will beat The Vision because Austin Theory can take the pin. Bron Breakker definitely won't take the three-count.
I'd lean toward Sol Ruca and Lola Vice beating Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez winning, too, as I think Rodriguez could lose in order to set up someone like Vice to be her next challenger for the women's IC title.
