Preview & Predictions for WWE Money in the Bank 2026:
On tap for Money in the Bank, World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns defends against LA Knight; Bron Breakker, Je'Von Evans, Trick Williams, Penta, CM Punk and Kevin Owens compete in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match; Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton battle in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match; Oba Femi faces Bronson Reed; and Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer will defend against the winner of Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan from the October 5 edition of Raw.
I don't think Stephanie Vaquer is dropping the women's title, nor do I think there is any chance whatsoever that Roman Reigns will lose the men's World Heavyweight Championship to LA Knight. If that match isn't a straightforward pinfall for Reigns, it'll be mired in shenanigans with 946 and The Bloodline, but I'm not expecting any scenario to end up with Knight walking out holding the gold.
The Oba Femi feud with The Vision feels like such a time killer to keep Femi away from Reigns and stall for WrestleMania. Ultimately, Femi is going to be the victor of the whole Vision feud, and I expect him to win here, too, but I don't think this is going to end any time soon. Femi will be on the opposite side of The Vision in WarGames if they're involved in that. That depends on if that's revolving around 946/Bloodline or if it's some weird combination of things, but Reed beating Femi isn't something I'd imagine will go over well if it happens, and I don't think WWE can just do their usual disqualification b.s. endings that they like. If Reed wins, it won't be clean.
As far as who captures the two briefcases, this is one of those years where I'm thankfully not just assuming someone is a guarantee and it's predictable and boring. I actually have no real idea who will win, and I have to just blindly guess, for the most part. Anyone COULD win, but I think I'm going to say I'd be surprised if Je'Von Evans, Penta, Trick Williams, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, or Lash Legend wins. I just don't see them factoring into the title scene as much as the others.
Breakker could very well hold the briefcase to keep him relevant for the coming months. Owens and Punk could be involved in the SmackDown side of things with Sami Zayn, but I'll go with Breakker.
Roxanne Perez would be a more likely pick if Liv Morgan were champion, so I'm growing suspicious that Tiffany Stratton will cash in on Chelsea Green and start a feud between those two, even though I'd rather them be fighting alongside each other in the women's tag team scene while/after Green is champion.
I do think it will be a Raw/SmackDown split, so if someone like Owens wins, I'm not going to think Jayne has as much of a chance as I would if Breakker wins and vice versa.
