WWE Negotiating With IMPACT WRESTLING To Bring The Hardy Boyz's #BROKEN Gimmick To RAW

Even Matt and Jeff Hardy have said The Hardy Boyz should probably be "The Hardy Men" by this point in their careers, but a new report claims that the duo could return to their wildly popular #BROKEN gimmick...

The Hardys received a huge pop when they returned to WWE at this year's WrestleMania, but it's easy to see them quickly growing stale if they stick with their old Hardy Boyz gimmick (the exactly same thing happened to The Dudley Boyz shortly after their return and their run quickly became massively forgettable as a result).

Matt and Jeff completely rejuvenated their careers in TNA and on the independent circuit by becoming #Broken and the vast majority of fans have been hoping to see that brought to WWE, hence the constant chants of "Delete!"

Well, it could happen sooner rather than later as Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio has revealed that, "The plan is to do the BROKEN character, and they’re doing this right now. The delay is that they’ve gotta work out the deal, and the deal is not worked out." The specifics of the deal aren't made clear, but "If it never happens, that means they never made the deal." It's going to be a case of waiting and seeing then!

WWE negotiating with Impact Wrestling owners Anthem Sports for the rights to the #Broken gimmick is pretty surprising given their normal stance on these things, but they clearly realise that the opportunity exists to make a great deal of money from it. As always, stay tuned for updates.
