Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT Gold Rush:
On tap for tonight's episode, which is the first of two weeks of NXT Gold Rush specials, we've naturally got multiple championships on the line.
Chelsea Green and Ethan Page will defend the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship against Thea Hail and the newest WWE signee, Joe Hendry. This could very well signify a title change, funny enough. I don't necessarily think that will happen, but I wouldn't be too shocked. If any title changes hands on this show, this has the most chances.
The second-most would probably be DarkState temporarily losing the NXT Tag Team Championship to Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater. However, I just don't think WWE will be willing to put a belt on a TNA talent outside of The Hardy Boyz, and they just did that with DarkState and immediately reverted back. The numbers game will help Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin retain, I'm sure.
I also expect Sol Ruca will come up short in her bid to win back the NXT Women's North American Championship from Blake Monroe. Will it be Zaria's fault, or not? That's the real question.
And with Izzi Dame gearing up for a turn on Tatum Paxley, I see no rationality for putting the NXT Women's Championship back on Jacy Jayne, who should be getting ready for a call-up to the main roster, not sticking around to do a continuation of the title reign she just had over the past few months.
Here are your results for WWE NXT Gold Rush - November 18, 2025:
- AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship Match: Chelsea Green & Ethan Page (c) defeated Joe Hendry & Thea Hail by pinfall.
- Quick backstage segment: Lola Vice and Jordynne Grace were talking when Kelani Jordan came over to talk about how she's beaten them both, and to remind audiences that next week, Jordan puts the TNA Knockouts World Championship on the line against Grace and Lei Ying Lee.
- It was announced by Ava that John Cena will pick all the competitors for the Iron Survivor Challenge matches this year for NXT Deadline.
- Tavion Heights spoke about how he wants to be chosen for that match. Josh Briggs then attacked him in the crowd and they fought until officials separated them.
- NXT Women's North American Championship Match: Blake Monroe (c) retained over Sol Ruca by submission. Ruca didn't tap out, and was telling Zaria not to throw in the towel, but Zaria did it anyway to protect her friend. Later, Ruca and Zaria would argue over this, with Zaria saying that she was just protecting her friend, and that Ruca was being too stubborn to give up and would have gotten injured.
- Ricky Saints and Oba Femi had a face-to-face promo segment, leading to a match booked between them for NXT Deadline. Trick Williams came out to say he's not done with going for the NXT Championship, and was attacked from behind by Myles Borne with a steel chair. Ava was upset about this later and booked them in a match for next week.
- DarkState's Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin retained the NXT Tag Team Championship over Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater
- A vignette introduced everyone to Shiloh Hill.
- Jacy Jayne won the NXT Women's Championship from Tatum Paxley by pinfall due to Izzi Dame turning on Paxley!
