Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2026:
On tap for Halloween Havoc, NXT Champion Grayson Waller defends his championship against Tony D'Angelo in a rematch from their previous encounter at Heatwave. D'Angelo earned the opportunity by defeating Myles Borne in a No. 1 Contender's Match on October 13 and now looks to regain the championship he lost to Waller. I don't think there's much of a chance D'Angelo wins it back. There are just better options out there to be the next champion than to go back to Tony D, and I don't think Waller should be dropping the belt any time soon in the first place.
NXT Women's Champion Kelani Jordan puts her championship on the line against Wren Sinclair, who earned her opportunity by winning a 20-Woman Battle Royal while disguised as AAA wrestler Lady Shani. I originally went into this expecting a simple scenario where Jordan retains, but now, I'm not so sure. Jordan's been spending some time hanging out around the Monday Night Raw roster, where her husband (Carmelo Hayes) was just traded to, and I'm keeping my suspicions that the WrenQCC will split soon. Does Kendal Grey turn on Wren Sinclair here and Jordan retains? Does Jordan drop the title and Grey gets jealous and upset and turns on Sinclair and beats her after a short transitional reign? Hm....
NXT Women's North American Champion Zaria battles Izzi Dame in a non-title match following their recent confrontations. I don't understand the situation with Izzi Dame rejecting a title shot. Hopefully, WWE has something up their sleeves.
Zilla Fatu faces Charlie Dempsey in a Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal Match, with the exact stipulation to be determined. Considering how weak this card is in terms of gimmicks so far, I hope this is something more than just a Trick or Street Fight, but it at least should be that. Poor Charlie Dempsey never wins anything, so I'm just assuming he loses here, too.
Shiloh Hill also goes one-on-one with Naraku as their bizarre rivalry continues over the different forms of the mist, particularly focusing on the black mist. I'd like to see Hill come out on top and add more to his character. They keep changing his gimmick in a lot of ways. When's the last time we saw The Fog?
Myles Borne and Tavion Heights will face each other in a Weapons Wild Match. To be honest, I'm not feeling this feud, nor do I think this stipulation is particularly enthralling for them. Heights wins if he's in line for a North American title shot. Borne wins if he's going to step up to the main event level and become another heel in the running for the NXT Championship. Overall, I think I'd wager more money on Borne, but it's a coin flip.
Danhausen will host the event after a mysterious note threatening to curse NXT General Manager Robert Stone led to Shawn Michaels confirming his involvement. The exact nature of Danhausen's hosting duties has not been announced.
