It's time for the WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 special event! This show is taking place at Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
NXT Heatwave will begin at 3 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. CT. immediately following AAA Ola de Calor. The event will air live on The CW Network and the ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited plan in the United States and on Netflix internationally.

Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT Heatwave 2026:
On tap for NXT Heatwave, Tony D'Angelo defends the NXT Championship against Grayson Waller, Cruz Montana and Zilla Fatu in a Fatal 4-Way Match; Kendal Grey defends the NXT Women's Championship against Kelani Jordan; Myles Borne pulls double duty by defending the NXT North American Championship against Jackson Drake and the NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Tavion Heights against Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes; Zaria faces Wren Sinclair and Kali Armstrong in a Winner Takes All title unification match, and Jaida Parker faces Nattie in a submission match.
Myles Borne's chances of walking out of here with both belts is very slim. He could very well lose both titles, but even if he retains whichever comes first, the second bout is likely going to result in a loss. It's all up to scheduling and card placement which championship is more in jeopardy.
I'm curious how Jaida Parker will beat Nattie, as I'm expecting she will, but she doesn't have a submission in her arsenal yet. This could be the debut of a new finisher for her that they've been working on.
I'd put money on Kendal Grey retaining the NXT Women's Championship over Kelani Jordan, but I wouldn't feel as confident about not losing it as I would have a week ago. They keep playing up Grey's injuries and I could see that being the excuse why she drops the title.
I also just assume Wren Sinclair is not retaining her belt, nor winning the Women's North American title. The WrenQCC could have a bad night. But that doesn't mean Zaria is by default winning the Speed title, as Kali Armstrong stands a VERY strong chance in winning both belts. I don't think Zaria will eat the pin regardless of whether she wins or loses. At this point, I'd probably rank the situation Zaria, then Armstrong, then Sinclair.
Regarding the Fatal 4-Way, it feels like such a foregone conclusion that Tony D'Angelo will drop the title that I'm suspicious that's not a red herring. I could see WWE doing their thing where he retains here by pinning someone like Grayson Waller, but Zilla Fatu and Cruz Montana continue to work their way back into title contention and D'Angelo loses it a month or so from now instead. If the title changes hands, Fatu feels like the most likely victor, but I'm starting to believe Tony D might retain for a little while longer.

- Zaria won the opening title unification match over Wren Sinclair and Kali Armstrong, leaving Heatwave as the holder of both the NXT Women's North American and WWE Women's Speed championships. Armstrong was the one who took the loss, eating a spear and an F5 before Zaria made the cover.
- Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes took the NXT Tag Team Championship back from Myles Borne and Tavion Heights. That's one title already gone from Borne, who still has to defend his North American Championship later in the show.
- Submission Match: Jaida Parker defeated Nattie by submission.
- Kelani Jordan defeated Kendal Grey (c) by pinfall to win the NXT Women's Championship!
- Jackson Drake beat Myles Borne (c) by pinfall to win the the NXT North American Championship
- Fatal 4-Way Match: Grayson Waller defeated Cruz Montana, Tony D'Angelo (c) and Zilla Fatu to win the NXT Championship!
