Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT:
On tap for tonight's episode, EK Prosper, La Parka, Tristan Angels and Romeo Moreno battle in a Fatal 4-Way Match to determine Rey Fenix's next challenger for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship; Jackson Drake faces Shiloh Hill with championship opportunities at stake; Lexis King defends the WWE Men's Speed Championship against Lucien Price; Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair battle Kelani Jordan and Kali Armstrong; and Thea Hail takes on Nattie.
The most interesting setup for NXT Heatwave is that Myles Borne does in fact need to pull double duty. That would therefore require Jackson Drake to beat Shiloh Hill. I think we'll see that happen with Naraku causing some interference to cost Hill and start a feud between those two, as Hill has been talking a lot about the poison mist, and Naraku has nothing else to do at the moment.
Lucien Price beating Lexis King for the WWE Speed Championship is a possibility, but I don't think it will happen unless WWE's plan is to also unify the men's North American Championship and the men's Speed title like the women's situation, but since I think that could also be just a scenario where Zaria holds both titles and defends them separately instead of a true merger, I'll stay King sticks around as champion.
The Fatal 4-Way is anyone's game. Rey Fenix could have a match against any of those and it would make sense. I do think La Parka has the worst chances, though, as that's nothing too special compared to a crossover match with an NXT star, so out of Prosper, Angels, and Moreno, I think Prosper's had quite a bit of time to shine lately and could win this.
Thea Hail loses to Nattie, but looks strong heading into her WWE EVOLVE Championship match. I think Nikkita Lyons gets involved here and Jaida Parker backs up Hail.
WrenQCC are doomed to lose their tag team match so both Kelani and Kali come off as bigger threats to Kendal Grey's title, and I'd imagine it's going to happen as a result of Zaria getting involved to screw over Sinclair.
