Tonight's episode of WWE NXT (August 4, 2025) emanates out of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and airs at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.

This post will be updated throughout the evening to reflect live coverage of all the important information, noteworthy things that transpire, winners for all the match results, recaps of promo/talking segments and more. Keep refreshing for the most up-to-date results!

Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT:

On tap for tonight's episode, Sol Ruca defends the Women's North American Championship against Tatum Paxley, who has the backing of The Culling. Zaria will be in line to help Ruca, but will there be other backup, or will a four-on-two scenario prove enough for Paxley to win the title? I don't think so, but stranger things have happened.

Chase U's Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors are also in contention for titles and will face The Belly Boys for the NXT Tag Team Championship. I'm perfectly fine taking the belts off Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, but I don't think Chase U is the right team to do it. I wouldn't be opposed to it, though.

Blake Monroe faces Kelani Jordan (and likely beats her). Myles Borne likely beats Lexis King, unless King is so dastardly that he exploits Borne's hearing loss for the win. Nia Jax will continue to prove she's more dominant than Lash Legend as she likely squashes Thea Hail (who I will always root for deserves a title). And interestingly, Stacks faces Yoshiki Inamura after an odd segment last week that possibly hinted at Stacks forming a new stable with Josh Briggs and Arianna Grace (at least in my opinion).

Also, we'll hopefully learn more about whether or not Tony D'Angelo, no longer "The Don" anymore, got whacked at the end of last week's episode. Maybe that's just the implication, and he was actually approached by someone who will be a new ally?

Here are your results for WWE NXT - August 4, 2025:

  • Kelani Jordan defeated Blake Monroe by count-out. Jordynne Grace came out to go after Monroe, who bolted out of the Performance Center and got into a car and drove off.
  • NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Hank Walker & Tank Ledger (c) defeated Chase U (Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors) by pinfall. DarkState took out everyone after the match, including Andre Chase.
  • In a backstage segment, Jacy Jayne said last week didn't go as planned as Lash Legend has been taken care of, but Jaida Parker is still coming for her title. Fallon Henley mentioned that Masha Slamovich and Ash by Elegance are coming for the TNA Knockouts World Championship, too. The Elegance Brand's Personal Concierge told Jayne that she's losing her title to Ash on Thursday and wants to shine the belt up. Jayne wouldn't let him touch it, and Lainey Reid then said that's Jazmyn Nyx's job. Jayne gave Nyx the belts to go shine up after being reminded.
  • Myles Borne defeated Lexis King by pinfall.
  • Nia Jax defeated Thea Hail by pinfall.
  • In Ava's office, Jordynne Grace was told she'll have a match against Blake Monroe at Heatwave.
  • Oba Femi went to the ring for a promo asking who will be his next challenger. Trick Williams came out, followed by Je'Von Evans. As they tried to settle on a No. 1 contender's match, TNA star Moose also entered the fray to remind everyone he's fighting Trick at TNA Emergence, and that he hasn't forgotten about his match against Femi at Roadblock. DarkState went on the attack again, but were sent packing. Later in the show, Ava booked DarkState in an eight-man tag team match for next week against Femi, Williams, Evans, and Moose, as well as Evans against Williams in two weeks to determine who fights Femi at Heatwave, and Hank Walker and Tank Ledger against two members of DarkState for the NXT Tag Team Championship titles at Heatwave.
  • A brief backstage segment took place with Arianna Grace trying to check up on Stacks until Lash Legend and Nia Jax brawling interrupted everything.
  • Also backstage, Charlie Dempsey was upset about Tavion Heights leaving the No Quarter Catch Crew. Wren Sinclair tried to cheer him up by singing Joe Hendry's theme. Hendry appeared from behind them inside of a refrigerator and this led to the idea of Hendry vs. Dempsey in a match.
  • Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo defeated Yoshiki Inamura by pinfall in part due to interference from Josh Briggs, who laid out Inamura while the referee was distracted.
  • Ethan Page cut an in-ring promo about how much better Canada is than the United States. Tavion Heights interrupted, but Page was then backed up by The Green Regime. Chelsea Green badmouthed the USA and Heights took a shot at Page before saying that he'd find someone in the women's division to go up against Green, too.
  • In the locker room, Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley teased and mocked Kelani Jordan for her count-out victory while Jordan was talking to Lola Vice. Jazmyn Nyx came by with Jayne's shined up title belts and said she talked to Ava about booking Jayne and Henley in a tag team match for next week against Vice and Jordan.
  • Backstage, while Zaria and Sol Ruca were strategizing Ruca's upcoming title defense, Legend and Jax kept brawling. Ava said they'll fight next week.
  • Ricky Saints was interviewed about Jasper Troy, who he'll fight in two weeks.
  • NXT Women's North American Championship Match: Sol Ruca (c) defeated Tatum Paxley by pinfall. Jax and Legend were brawling ringside, and Ruca capitalized on the chaos to hit her finisher.
