Tonight's episode of WWE NXT (December 9, 2025) emanates out of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and airs at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.

This post will be updated throughout the evening to reflect live coverage of all the important information, noteworthy things that transpire, winners for all the match results, recaps of promo/talking segments and more. Keep refreshing for the most up-to-date results!

Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT:

On tap for tonight's episode, we'll be dealing with the fallout from NXT Deadline, meaning some heavy focal points on the two Iron Survivor Challenge match winners (Kendal Grey and Je'Von Evans) as they build toward their title shots for January 6th's NXT New Year's Evil. That includes learning more about why Tony D'Angelo returned by attacking Evans (which was likely the whole box that was sent to Ava storyline). Coming out of the women's Iron Survivor Challenge match is also another match between Kelani Jordan and Jordynne Grace, who were brawling with each other backstage during the show.

This episode will also address Oba Femi winning the NXT Championship back, as well as possibly the next steps for Ricky Saints. We might even see (or at least, we should see) some promotion for the WWE Saturday Night's Main Event matches (Oba Femi vs. Cody Rhodes, Sol Ruca vs. Bayley, and whatever else might get added to the card).

Blake Monroe is set to have an open challenge for her NXT Women's North American Championship. Ava made a point in saying that an open challenge means anyone can answer that challenge. I'm assuming that means Bayley will be there for that to tie into Sol Ruca some more, but it could just mean someone else is going to start something with Monroe like Jaida Parker or whoever.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger were advertised to return, for some reason, and Shiloh Hill will be making his debut of sorts (since he's been on the show before, but pretending like he hasn't been and telling everyone this is a debut for a reintroduction means more), so expect to see him squash someone low on the totem pole.

Here are your results for WWE NXT - December 9, 2025:

  • Promo: Ricky Saints wants a rematch with Oba Femi (who plans to beat Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event, naturally) and Je'Von Evans was able to convince Femi to have their scheduled title match for New Year's Evil on tonight's show instead.
  • Kelani Jordan defeated Jordynne Grace by pinfall.
  • After the commercial, lots of women are preparing to potentially answer the open challenge. Jordynne Grace is upset that she's losing to a "rookie" now and can't accomplish anything. Thea Hail tried to help give her a pep talk, but Grace called her a 16 year old.
  • Open Challenge for the NXT Women's North American Championship: Blake Monroe (c) came out, but so did the rest of the locker room. As she complained that she couldn't fight everyone, Thea Hail jumped her from behind and made her tap out, but with no referee, the segment just ended awkwardly and they moved on.
  • Shiloh Hill debuted and defeated Lexis King by pinfall.
  • Ethan Page put himself over in a promo until Tony D'Angelo attacked him. Page was then upset after the commercial break and had interrupted a backstage segment where Ava told the other four competitors from the Iron Survivor Challenge match (Dion Lennox, Joe Hendry, Leon Slater, and Myles Borne) that they'll have a Fatal 4-Way No. 1 contender's match for New Year's Evil since Je'Von Evans is having his match earlier than scheduled.
  • Sol Ruca defeated Wren Sinclair by pinfall.
  • Hank Walker and Tank Ledger's return was actually a video package and an interview to promote a match against OTM for next week.
  • Oba Femi retained the NXT Championship over Je'Von Evans because Ricky Saints pulled the referee out of the ring when Evans was about to win, causing enough of a distraction for Femi to take advantage and win.
