Here are your results for the January 14, 2025 edition of WWE NXT:
- The show opened with a promo from Oba Femi, who talked about how he has no ceiling (unlike Trick Williams, who he otherwise put over) and that he always knew that he would become NXT champion. Tony D'Angelo interrupted, bringing up his 2 victories over Femi, stating that whenever he decides to take the NXT Championship, he's got Femi's number. Ridge Holland then came out and resparked his issues with The Don, leading to the two of them fighting in a brawl. As that was going on, Femi was attacked from behind by Eddy Thorpe, who was also wielding a leather strap (which normally indicates a Strap Match is coming soon)
- Backstage, Ethan Page was talking to Dante Chen, acting like it was a huge deal that he interacted with "DJ" (The Rock) last week. Chen and others in the locker room are mad at Page for what he did to Je'Von Evans, so Chen is going to ask Ava for a match.
- No. 1 Contender's Match to Determine NXT Women's North American Champion Fallon Henley's Next Opponent: Shotzi Blackheart defeated Stephanie Vaquer by pinfall. Jacy Jayne had inserted herself into the match and was taken out by both Shotzi and Stephanie. During that commotion, Fallon Henley hit Vaquer in the back with her title belt. Shotzi didn't notice, but still capitalized on the situation, rolling Vaquer up for the win. After the match, Shotzi saw the way she won on the replay and was upset, while Vaquer went around backstage, threatening various people like Tatum Paxley, but since this was picture-in-picture, anyone watching on CW couldn't hear a single thing she was saying.
- After the commercial break, Oba Femi went to Ava's office and said he wants a match with Eddy Thorpe. Ava didn't want to reward his bad behavior, but when Mr. Stone told Femi that he's being played, Femi picked Stone up and reiterated that since he's the NXT champion, if he wants a match, he gets it. Ava then agreed and the match is set for next week.
- Ethan Page defeated Dante Chen by pinfall. After the match, Page injured Chen by taking off his boot and placing his leg between the steel steps and the ring post, kicking the steps. Je'Von Evans then came out to fight with Page, but with one stiff shot to the injured mouth, Page took him down. Evans spit up some more blood and Page stood over him telling him to "smile now."
- In a flurry of backstage camera tracking between different people, Dion Lennox congratulated Oba Femi for winning the NXT Championship and said he would eventually challenge him for the title some day. Shawn Spears was trying to convince Adriana Rizzo that she is more dedicated to The Family than Tony D'Angelo is to her. Izzi Dame interrupted to say she (Dame) doesn't need Spears, nor does Rizzo. Spears isn't so sure. Rizzo told Dame that she had that handled and Dame scoffed it off. Then, Ashante "Thee" Adonis gave a rose to Karmen Petrovic and said he wants to be an official couple. Petrovic pulled him in for a kiss, saying "finally."
- A video package aired to spotlight the new NXT women's champion Giulia.
- Backstage, Sarah Schreiber spoke to the BTTITW (Best Tag Team In The World), the current WWE tag team champions #DIY. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have been hearing so much about Axiom and Nathan Frazer being "the greatest tag team in NXT history" and they know that their paths are going to eventually cross, so since they're 10 steps ahead, they asked Shawn Michaels for tickets to be able to watch them ringside tonight, but they promise not to cause any problems.
- No. 1 Contenders' Match to Determine WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Naomi's Next Opponents: Meta-Four's Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend defeated The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) by pinfall.
- Backstage, as Lexis King was getting his name plate added to the NXT Heritage Cup trophy, Charlie Dempsey and Wren Sinclair came over. Dempsey applauded King for his victory, but Sinclair was upset, saying Dempsey deserves a rematch. Ava was agreeing to it as they were all interrupted by a loud banging sound. The camera went to check it out and officials were trying to separate a brawling Tony D'Angelo and Ridge Holland.
- Cora Jade defeated Kelani Jordan by pinfall. TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich was ringside for the match.
- Eddy Thorpe said via an Instagram video how he set the bait and Oba Femi fell for it. This is a beautiful day and it was a good day at work. Next week, he's going to overthrow Femi and become the new ruler of NXT.
- Backstage, after Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura told Axiom and Nathan Frazer that they want the next title shot, OTM came over to say that they were about to win the titles instead, eventually leading to a fight with Briggs and Inamura.
- NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Axiom and Nathan Frazer (c) retained over OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) by pinfall.
- Roxanne Perez cut a promo about how NXT doesn't deserve her and the women's division is going to collapse without her as champion. She was interrupted by Bayley, who was trying to give her some advice about how she can use this loss as a motivation, but Perez wasn't having it. After Bayley said Roxanne would be stuck in NXT while she'd be going on to win the Royal Rumble to fight Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania, Perez attacked Bayley and the episode ended with the two of them fighting.
