Tonight's episode of WWE NXT (May 6, 2025) emanates out of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and airs at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.

Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT:
On tap for tonight's episode, there will be a 25-man battle royal featuring talent from not just NXT, but also WWE EVOLVE, WWE LFG, and supposedly even TNA Wrestling with the winner going on to face Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at the next premium live event, WWE Battleground on May 25th. Watch out for Trick Williams to win that one as the most obvious and predictable answer, but also the one that makes the most overall sense.
Stephanie Vaquer's opponent for Battleground will also be determined with Giulia against Jordynne Grace in a No. 1 contender's match. Given how much WWE has focused on Giulia as of late being someone semi called up to the main roster, it's hard to tell if that's because she's poised to do this big match still, or if she's just being stalled before going to Raw and it's Grace who will stick around long enough for it to be worthwhile. I'm going with the latter, ultimately.
Kelani Jordan could also become a No. 1 contender to the Women's North American Championship if she's able to get through Zaria. Considering the alternative of cutting that story dead immediately if she were to lose, it's safe to say Jordan will win that.
Lastly, the NXT tag team champions Hank Walker and Tank Ledger are teaming up with the TNA world champion Joe Hendry to face three as-yet-unannounced members of DarkState. Hendry's made too much of an enemy in Trick Williams lately (and the two will face off in a tag team match at TNA Under Siege on May 23rd) and DarkState needs to keep up their aura, so The Belly Boys and Hendry will come up short.

- Six-Man Tag Team Match: DarkState (Cutler James, Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin with Saquon Shugars) defeated Joe Hendry, Hank Walker & Tank Ledger by pinfall on Ledger.
- Backstage in the locker room, Thea Hail and Karmen Petrovic were bonding over relying on others but standing on your own as well, until Jaida Parker interrupted to badmouth both of them.
- ZARIA defeated Kelani Jordan by pinfall.
- Wes Lee (with Tyriek Igwe, and Tyson DuPont) talked some trash to Tony D'Angelo in the locker room.
- Backstage, Lola Vice put her name in the hat for a future NXT Women's Championship match. Later, Lash Legend and others did the same in their own right.
- Myles Borne won the 25-Man Battle Royal to become the No. 1 Contender for the NXT Championship and earn the title shot for Battleground.
- Jaida Parker defeated Karmen Petrovic by pinfall.
- OTM's return was hyped up with Bronco Nima and Lucien Price talking about their upbringing and how they're ready to strike and such.
- Wes Lee was shown on the phone talking about how "he took the bait" and "the match is set" and "every man's got a price." He'll face Tony D'Angelo next week.
- Yoshiki Inamura apologized to Josh Briggs for eliminating him in the battle royal. Inamura is heading back to Japan and wishes he was a better tag team partner for Briggs. Brooks Jensen walked by to say that the problem common denominator is Briggs in his tag team failures.
- Charlie Dempsey tried to take Myles Borne's title shot for himself. Instead, Borne stood up for himself and volunteered Dempsey to face Oba Femi in a match next week, which pissed off Dempsey.
- Andre Chase got some new Chase U attire from Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors.
- NXT Women's Championship No. 1 Contender's Match: Jordynne Grace defeated Giulia by pinfall.
