Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT:
On tap for tonight's episode, there will be a six woman tag team match with Fatal Influence bent on revenge for Jacy Jayne losing the NXT Women's Championship at Halloween Havoc. He, alongside Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, went on the attack and ruined last week's title bout between the new champion, Tatum Paxley, and her hand-chosen (via the Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal wheel) No. 1 contender, Lola Vice, as well as her tag team partner in The Culling, Izzi Dame. If they want to have another match between Jayne and Paxley, the heels win. If this is the end of this feud, babyfaces come out on top.
There will also be the start of the tournament to crown the new WWE Women's Speed Championship title-holder as Sol Ruca relinquished the belt on last week's episode, as opposed to letting Zaria defend it on her behalf. Zaria has said she wants to enter the tournament. No specific matches have been confirmed.
Also, since Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater plan on fighting DarkState for the NXT Tag Team Championship down the line, DarkState wants to intimidate and soften up Evans, with Saquon Shugars set for a one-on-one bout against The Young OG on this episode. As I expect the tag title bout to be booked for NXT Gold Rush, I think this is a layup for Evans to come out on top and use that as a means to justify why he and Slater deserve the opportunity. Frankly, I expect Slater to be here to help make the save or something, too. That match is happening.
