On tap for tonight's episode, the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic begins with teams representing NXT, Raw, SmackDown, EVOLVE and AAA; AAA Reina de Reinas Champion La Catalina teams with Thea Hail against NXT Women's Champion Kelani Jordan and NXT Women's North American Champion Zaria; and Zilla Fatu, Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux face BirthRight's Lexis King, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors.
It sure would be nice to know which matches are taking place in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, as having a list of 14 teams with no bracket means "whatever" when it comes to the predictions. By the way, I'm curious how they said there were supposed to be representatives from Raw and I don't see any of those, unless they're counting Los Americanos, who have only appeared on AAA for months now.
Regarding La Catalina and Thea Hail against Kelani Jordan and Zaria, the most interesting scenario is always for the challengers to beat the champions to set them up for a future title opportunity, so I'll go with Hail and Catalina winning. My guess is Hail takes out Zaria.
For the six man tag, BirthRight loses more often than they win, so why would I think anything different is going to happen here? Oh, because Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux are in the match, which means they can take the pin and Zilla Fatu can be protected. But does BirthRight winning actually do anything? Doubtful. Zilla is the priority project going on here, so I'm going to default to him scoring the win for his team unless there's something else going on during the show that sets up something differently with the DRTTC.
