Tonight's episode of WWE NXT (September 23, 2025) emanates out of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and airs at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.

This post will be updated throughout the evening to reflect live coverage of all the important information, noteworthy things that transpire, winners for all the match results, recaps of promo/talking segments and more. Keep refreshing for the most up-to-date results!

Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT:

On tap for tonight's episode, both the TNA World Championship and the NXT Championship will be on the line as Trick Williams faces Oba Femi in a Winner Takes All match. Whoever walks out with the belts will defend against Ricky Saints at NXT No Mercy on Saturday. Given all the threats from the TNA roster last week, as well as how Trick is set to defend the TNA title against Mike Santana at Bound for Glory, I don't think we're getting a new double champion crowned tonight. I'm fully expecting people from TNA to come out and go on the attack, leading to this being thrown out as a no-contest so that the titles remain split. It'll annoy the audience hoping for a title change, but WWE will have the mindset that that's the point and booo, TNA are the bad guys, with them hoping the hook will be so interesting that it'll offset the non-ending of the match.

Another match with No Mercy implications is Lainey Reid against Candice LeRae. The winner goes on to fight Sol Ruca for the women's WWE Speed Championship at the PLE. WWE seems to like Reid right now, and LeRae doesn't strike me as being in the position to win the title back and start defending it more on NXT, so I'm anticipating Reid wins this and possibly even goes on to beat Ruca for the title at No Mercy.

Following their blindfold match, Lexis King and Myles Borne will be in a "lights out" match. The rules of that haven't been clarified at the moment.

Here are your results for WWE NXT - September 23, 2025:

  • Lights Out Match: Myles Borne defeated Lexis King by pinfall
  • Backstage, Robert Stone and Stevie Turner were talking to Ava on the phone. Ava isn't there tonight and they're confused about why there are some TNA wrestlers there. Ava trusts them to hold down the fort.
  • Ethan Page cut a promo in the ring about how he should be the AAA Latin American champion right now (as Dr. Wagner Jr. was in the crowd) and how he'll beat Tavion Heights at No Mercy. Wagner came into the ring and made Page tap out, only to reveal that he was actually Heights under the mask.
  • Backstage in the women's locker room, Jordynne Grace challenged Arianna Grace to a match tonight to get some revenge on the trash talking Arianna was saying about Jordynne recently.
  • WWE Speed Tournament Final No. 1 Contender’s Match: Lainey Reid defeated Candice LeRae by pinfall.
  • Jaida Parker had a vignette about her feud with Lash Legend and how she is going to beat her the next time they face off.
  • Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley were talking backstage. Valkyria thinks every time she lets a friend in, they lose their mind. Lyra likes that Paxley is "consistently weird". Izzi Dame then came over to hand Paxley her doll that she dropped and accuse Valkyria of leaving her again.
  • Backstage, NASCAR's Cole Custer and Sam Mayer were chatting up Chase U about Joe Hendry, who popped up after DarkState picked a fight for no reason, setting up a trios match for later.
  • Jordynne Grace defeated Arianna Grace by pinfall. After the match, Blake Monroe came out with a kendo stick and started to fight with Jordynne (who had a steel chair). Stevie Turner and Robert Stone then booked Monroe and Grace in a "weapons steel cage match" for No Mercy.
  • Kelly Kincaid interviewed Lainey Reid about her win over LeRae and her upcoming title shot. Fatal Influence then strolled up and Jacy Jayne congratulated Reid before telling Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx that she can handle Lola Vice on her own. She then had an in-ring promo opposite Vice and after some badmouthing to each other, Vice laid out Jayne with one hit.
  • Josh Briggs and Je'Von Evans will fight at No Mercy, according to a vignette Briggs had where he crapped on the audience for being hypocrites.
  • Six-Man Tag Team Match: DarkState's Osiris Griffin, Dion Lennox and Saquon Shugars defeated Joe Hendry and Chase U (Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors) by pinfall.
  • TBD - Title-for-Title Winner Takes All Match: NXT Champion Oba Femi vs. TNA World Champion Trick Williams
