On tap for tonight's episode, NXT Champion Grayson Waller defends against Mason Rook and NXT Women's North American Champion Zaria puts her title on the line against Thea Hail. The first round of the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic continues as Fraxiom battles DarkState and BirthRight takes on Mini Vikingo and Chazz "Starboy" Hall. Myles Borne will also return to NXT following his latest attack on Tavion Heights.
I've hated this Myles Borne storyline, and how much they've dragged it out. Based on the track record, we're going to get another repeat of the same terrible "I had to get Tavion Heights before he got me" and "he was holding me back" generic, bland storytelling going on in this feud. It's doing nothing for me, and it won't matter at all to me if Heights jumps Borne or anything. I just want this to be over with.
I'd expect BirthRight to beat Mini Vikingo and Chazz Hall. Fraxiom beating DarkState is my pick, but that one I'm not as sold on being a guarantee.
Two things that are guarantees, though, are both Grayson Waller and Zaria retaining their titles over Mason Rook and Thea Hail. Rook's had no build, so it would be a dud if he won it, and Waller shouldn't drop it yet. Zaria is literally being set up to feud with Izzi Dame over this title next, so why would anyone believe Hail would get the title in the meantime when the previous time, she wasn't planned on winning? I think Hail is great (minus this arm dance they've got her doing now, for some reason), but I just don't think she stands a chance to win this belt right now.
