Preview & Predictions for WWE Vengeance Day:
Two matches on this show have nothing on the line other than just being grudge feuds and bitter rivalries, so technically speaking, either man can win and it wouldn't change much. That is more so the case with Je'Von Evans against Ethan Page, as the only real threat here is Page saying he'll end Evans' career. Not only is that doubtful, there's more of a chance this match sets up another gimmick match in the future like a Last Man Standing or Street Fight at Roadblock or Stand & Deliver, so if Evans wins, that will propel that even further.
The other already has a stipulation as Trick Williams is against Eddy Thorpe in a Strap Match. This feels very much like a holdover stalling tactic to prevent Williams from having his one-on-one match with Oba Femi for the NXT Championship. My guess is that will take place either at Roadblock or Stand & Deliver as well, so Williams needs to be victorious to carry that momentum forward. There's no reason to give this to Thorpe.
Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura aren't going to capture the NXT Tag Team Championship from Fraxiom, but there's a very good chance Stephanie Vaquer dethrones Fallon Henley for the NXT Women's North American Championship. That's no guarantee, but it's the most likely title change to happen.
By that account as well, it's too soon to take the NXT Women's Championship off Giulia, even if she could lose the title without being pinned, and there is absolutely no way Oba Femi loses the NXT Championship to either member of A-Town Down Under.
Here are your results for WWE Vengeance Day 2025:
- Singles Match for the NXT Women's North American Championship: Stephanie Vaquer defeated Fallon Henley (c) by pinfall and is our new champion.
- NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Axiom & Nathan Frazer (c) defeated Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura by pinfall. After the match, both teams were attacked by the four wrestlers who had been appearing in silhouettes hyping up a mysterious new faction. No information was put out there for their names or anything.
- Stacks cut a quick promo (via video package / vignette) about how he's going to get some revenge on Tuesday night to get back at Shawn Spears, Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance, and Izzi Dame.
- Strap Match: Eddy Thorpe defeated Trick Williams by pinfall.
- Ricky Starks will sign his NXT contract in the ring on Tuesday. They still haven't bothered to actually refer to him as Ricky Starks, though.
- Singles Match: Ethan Page defeated Je'Von Evans by pinfall.
- Triple Threat for the NXT Championship: Oba Femi (c) retained over Austin Theory and Grayson Waller by pinning Waller. Femi was then attacked after the match by Lennox, James, Shugars and Griffin.
- Backstage, Ava talks to Sarah Schreiber about how she's going to deal with that quartet. As she's about to plug Roadblock, Arianna Grace interrupts and brings in her father, Santino Marella! They're off to discuss some ideas.
- Fatal 4-Way Match for the NXT Women's Championship: Giulia (c) retained over Bayley, Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez by pinfall. After the match, Stephanie Vaquer came out to stand in the ring with Giulia, and Jordynne Grace then appeared to do the same.
