WWE decided to bring Starrcade back a couple of years ago as a non-televised house show but a big change was made this year when a shortened, hour-long version was aired on the WWE Network.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the event managed to draw 8000 fans. That's a significant increase for house show attendance and it was during a recent financial conference call that Vince McMahon actually said WWE will be making changes to them moving forward in a bid to deal with falling ticket sales which have been an issue for a while now.

Throw in the fact that Starrcade ended up being the most watched show on the WWE Network last week and officials are said to be extremely happy with the way things have played out with the show.
