This past Friday on WWE Super ShowDown, officials made the odd call to have the Three-on-One Handicap match between Lars Sullivan and Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado) end in disqualification after the trio attacked ‘The Freak’ to cause the DQ.

Sullivan ultimately laid out all three men after the match-up was said and done, thus negating the protection of Kalisto, Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado. The booking decision was very strange as it weaken Sullivan's aurora and didn’t do any favors for the Lucha House Party either.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that the original plan for the match saw Sullivan picking up the win in a squash like manner. However, the ending of the match was changed at some point before the show began. It’s not exactly known why the results changed; however, with two weeks before Stomping Ground takes place, it’s possible that the company was looking to extend the feud for one more pay-per-view.
