During the Countdown to WWE WrestleMania 41 Saturday pre-show, it was announced that WWE has acquired the lucha libre promotion AAA.
As part of this announcement, a premium live event will be happening at the Kia Center in Los Angeles, California on June 7, 2025—the same day as WWE Money in the Bank is scheduled—which will feature talent crossing over from WWE, NXT, and AAA promotions. This is in part a reference to the original When Worlds Collide event that went down at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena on November 6, 1994.
Another thing revealed was that Rey Mysterio has been indeed pulled from tonight's WrestleMania card, where he was scheduled to face El Grande Americano. Mysterio suffered an injury last night in his six-man tag team match alongside Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee against American Made. Replacing him will be Rey Fenix.
However, that's not the only announcement of someone pulled from WrestleMania. Though Mysterio's injury is legitimate, as was Kevin Owens' for being pulled from his scheduled match against Randy Orton, there was an angle done where Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez attacked Bayley and she is also pulled from tomorrow's WrestleMania Sunday card.
Raw General Manager Adam Pearce told Lyra Valkyria that she's going to have 24 hours to find a new tag team partner.
With rumors that Becky Lynch is set to return, it's highly likely she'll be the big surprise and team alongside Valkyria, as they have history together not only in NXT, but both being Irish Superstars.
That will probably not be confirmed until the time of the match itself, but if more news comes out, we'll be sure to keep you informed here at TheRingReport.
