WWE RAW Announcer David Otunga's Absence May Have Been Revealed As He Splits With Jennifer Hudson

During the Superstar Shakeup, SmackDown Live announcer David Otunga was supposed to move to RAW. However, that didn't happen and a new report may shed some light on his recent absence from WWE...

Earlier this year, it was revealed that David Otunga and Byron Saxton would be switching places but Booker T ended up joining the RAW announce team due to Otunga reportedly being busy shooting a movie. However, a reason for his absence may have now been revealed as various sites are reporting that the former wrestler is in the process of splitting up with his fiance, singer Jennifer Hudson.

She's been
referenced on WWE programming a fair bit but it's said that she's "requested and received a protective order against her ex-fiancé. Jennifer’s actions are solely taken in the best interest of their son." That doesn't sound good and is the sort of PR nightmare WWE likes to avoid, so chances are we can forget about seeing him on TV again until this is cleared up...if it ever is!

It's important to note that Otunga's lawyers have denied any claims or abuse or harassment and his lawyers say Hudson has done it to get an advantage in their custody battles. Who knows what the truth may be (ultimately, it's none of our business) but the signs are pointing to Booker T and his nonsensical ramblings becoming a permanent fixture on RAW! How do you guys feel about that?
