In order to give Superstars some much-needed R&R over Thanksgiving, WWE taped the November 18 episode of RAW in advance last night.
Taking place immediately after the live show at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, it featured a big return and even more teases for the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames PLE.
Be warned that major spoilers follow from this point on.
Bronson Reed defeated Seth Rollins with an assist from Solo Sikoa who, after the match, raised Reed's arm. Sami Zayn and The Usos showed up at the start of the bout to drive off Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu, so the insinuation right now seems to be that Rollins and Reed will be added to the men's WarGames match.
It's a solid way for WWE to include an ongoing singles rivalry in the match, though this could be a misdirect (a quick look on social media suggests fans would rather it be Cody Rhodes and The Rock).
WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker vs. Sheamus ended in a no-contest when Ludwig Kaiser attacked both men, while The War Raiders picked up a win over The Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio and Carlito.
The LWO (Rey Mysterio & Zelina Vega) defeated American Made (Chad Gable & Ivy Nile) in a mixed tag team match and Rhea Ripley made her surprise return to attack WWE Women's World Champion Liv Morgan.
A huge brawl ensued and it seems the women's WarGames match will pit Ripley, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Naomi, and Iyo Sky against Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, and a fifth woman who has yet to be revealed. Based on recent SmackDown episodes, Candice LeRae will likely join the heel team.
We're hearing that various backstage segments were filmed but not shown to fans in attendance.
