WWE RAW Superstar Luke Harper Has Requested His Release From The Company

Luke Harper has asked to be released from his WWE contract, and, really, who could blame him?

Although the news does come as a surprise after Harper defeated NXT's Dominik Dijakovic in a barn-burner of a match at Axxess over the weekend, the former Wyatt Family member has been cleared to compete since February and still hasn't had a televised match.

In his statement, Luke thanks his fans, co-workers and the company, and says he looks forward to continuing to "grow as a performer and person,"

In most people's eyes, Harper was never given a real shot as a singles performer after The Wyatt Family was disbanded, and although he did achieve Tag-Team success with Rowan as The Bludgeon Brothers, his talent really should have propelled him to a more prominent place on the roster.
