WWE RAW Superstar Sheamus Reveals He's Been Dealing With A Nagging Neck Injury For Months

It was revealed on this week's RAW that Sheamus is "on sabbatical in Ireland" and The Celtic Warrior has now revealed that he's actually been dealing with some nagging neck injuries over the past few months...

On next Monday's episode of RAW, Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro are expected to defend those titles in a match with Shield members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. While it was mentioned earlier this week that The Celtic Warrior is on sabbatical in Ireland, it's thought he'll be back in time for that match but there's actually a very good reason why he's taking some time off.

In the video below, Sheamus reveals that he really is in Ireland and that he's working to recover from spinal stenosis in his neck. "Training and all is great," he says. "But you need to recover. The most important thing is recovery. For the last six
months I’ve been dealing with serious stenosis — neck issues." Hopefully, he won't need too long to recover and this isn't too serious.

Neck issues are no laughing matter, though, and you have to hope that Sheamus is going to be careful moving forward as if anything goes wrong, he could be left on the shelf for a very long time.
