WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Sheamus May Have More Serious Medical Issues Than We Thought

An update has surfaced on some of Sheamus' neck issues and it sounds like the RAW Tag Team Champion's neck issues may be more serious than we initially thought. Could his WWE career be in jeopardy?

We recently learned that Sheamus missed last week's RAW because he was taking some time off in Ireland but it was later revealed that The Celtic Warrior was dealing with some nagging neck issues.

Well, Dave Meltzer has now provided a brief update on that by revealing that the RAW Tag Team Champion has actually been rehabbing spinal stenosis. As you may or may not already know, that's "not a good thing at all" because that same condition is what ultimately led to the end of both Stone Cold Steve Austin and Edge's wrestling careers (prematurely in the case of the latter).

Sheamus has taken some nasty bumps over the years so this news sadly isn't all that surprising but here's hoping it's not already past the point of no return. We'll be sure to keep you updated but Sheamus remains on the road so it could be that this hasn't presented too much of a problem yet. It's something he'll have to keep an eye on, though, so we wish him all the best!
