During her championship match with Nia Jax at Backlash, it was noted that Alexa Bliss was injured. It was speculated that Bliss was injured during Nia’s comeback sequence, though that hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Bliss later appeared in a backstage promo at Monday's RAW talking about the potential to be apart of the women’s money in the bank ladder match but was not active in the ring. Jax then took to Twitter to respond to a fan that called her an "unsafe worker" and noted that Bliss is still scheduled for the European tour this week as she's fine.
