Chloe Christmas is a referee in WWE for NXT 2.0 and 205 Live. As per usual, she was recently given a WWE-approved name rather than the one she had on the independent circuit, but fans on social media weren't happy when that was revealed to be Paige.

After all, the name already belongs to WWE Superstar Paige, and many felt this was an unnecessary shot at the former Divas Champion as she teases an in-ring return. While she's still supposedly under contract with WWE, it's widely believed that the former SmackDown General Manager will head to a different company if she's cleared as that would mean keeping her Twitch account.

Well, it seems WWE took note of the backlash because Christmas has now changed her Twitter handle from @RefPaigeWWE to @BlairBaldwinWWE. It appears that will be her new moniker as a referee in the company, and unlike Paige, it's not a name associated with anyone else.

Christmas originally tried out for WWE in March 2020. That was the same time two of Paige's family members, Zak Bevis and Ricky Knight Jr., also tried out, so whether this was meant to be a rib or just a way of paying homage to the WWE Superstar is hard to say.

Either way, we're sure a lot of fans will be pleased with this news.
