WWE References Kevin Owens' Rumored WWE Departure And AEW During Last Night's Episode Of RAW

During last night's episode of RAW, WWE Champion Big E was confronted by Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens. A pretty solid promo followed, but many fans were left shocked by apparent references to KO's contact status and the stable he was once part of with The Young Bucks and Adam Cole.

Owens talked about not having much luck in recent months, but made it clear he'll give it his all whether it be for three more months or three more years. It's been reported that his contract with WWE expires on January 30, 2022, so that's obviously what the "three more months" was a reference to.

Later, the three men got into an argument about who would make the best face of RAW, with Big E stating "There can be only one face of Monday Night RAW, this isn’t Mount Rushmore."

That's an obvious nod to Owens and The Young Bucks recently teasing their Mount Rushmore stable (which also included Adam Cole) reforming down the line. It's interesting that WWE would choose to reference all this, but it's certainly a good way to make headlines...like this one, for example!

As for Owens' in-ring future, it feels like he'd be nuts to remain in WWE, but we'll see what happens.
