It appears as if we're getting a wave of WWE Network documentaries focusing on the "Ruthless Aggression" Era in WWE. It was during that period the company lost two of its biggest stars in The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, something which forced them to create new stars like John Cena, Randy Orton, and Brock Lesnar.
More popular than the "Attitude" Era in some respects among many fans, there was a lot of good (and a fair bit of bad) things about this time but exploring this period promises to be an awful lot of fun.
Among the highlights was Brock Lesnar's rise to prominence and Shawn Michael's shocking return to the squared circle after his retirement in 1998. Vince McMahon used a lot of shock tactics to try and increase ratings during this period and it would ultimately culminate in a move to PG for WWE.
