We're just days away from SmackDown 1000 but one of the brand's most beloved Superstars sadly won't be present. That's because Eddie Guerrero died of a heart attack a number of years ago but in a bid to remember the former WWE Champion, WWE has today released a 17-minute documentary in which they celebrate what the WWE Hall of Famer brought to the show over the years.
The documentary features interviews with Vickie Guerrero, Batista, JBL, Kurt Angle, John Cena, Paul Heyman, Sasha Banks, and Aiden English (who is currently married to Guerrero’s daughter).
It also takes a look at how "Guerrero emerged as a leader on SmackDown in the early days of the 2002 brand split, both on-screen as a performer and behind the scenes as a locker room leader for a group of young Superstars out to prove themselves on a show that found itself competing with Monday Night Raw." It's well worth a watch and serves as a great tribute.
