WWE Releases Photos Of What Appears To Be Shinsuke Nakamura's Embarrassing New Gimmick

On this week's episode of SmackDown Live, it appeared as if WWE had abandoned plans for the "United States of Nak-America" gimmick the King of Strong Style teased a few weeks back. However, a new photoshoot from WWE points to that still being the plan for the United States Champion and if he plans on heading to the ring decked out like this, it could be a gimmick which kills his momentum.

Of course, he hasn't had a whole lot of that since coming out on the losing end of that WWE Championship feud with AJ Styles and it's now hard to believe that he won the Royal Rumble earlier THIS YEAR and challenged for the company's top title at WrestleMania. With any luck, Nakamura will recover but it's hard to escape the feeling that WWE doesn't really have that much faith in the Superstar.
