WWE Releases Unaired Footage Of Matt Hardy Being Helped To The Back After Randy Orton's Attack

During last night's episode of RAW, Matt Hardy was taken out by Randy Orton in brutal fashion and WWE has now released unaired footage from the aftermath of that attack. Check it out after the jump...

Matt Hardy demanded answers from Randy Orton during last night's RAW about why The Viper attempted to end Edge's career with a brutal chair attack and was taken out himself by the former WWE Champion. It appears as if that may have been his final night in WWE and the company has now released footage from what happened during the commercial break.

As you can see in the player below, Hardy was helped out of the ring and then taken to the backstage area. Just like with Edge, Orton placed a chair beneath Matt's head and proceeded to deliver a "Con-Chair-To," a staple of Edge and Christian's time as a tag team. 

Needless to say, if this was Hardy's farewell, he went out in style and has helped to further this storyline between Orton and the WWE Hall of Famer. It's widely believed that the plan is for them to clash at WrestleMania in what will be Edge's first singles match in WWE in nearly a decade.
